Tua Tagoviloa Injury Could Be Severe For the NFL

Tua Tagovailoa injury is devastating for Alabama

Alabama top-ranked Tua Tagovailoa, who could be one of the best NFL contenders for April, will miss the rest of the season with a right hip injury late in the first half of the Mississippi win. 38-7 last Saturday.

Alabama orthopedic surgeon Lyle Kayne said in a statement on Saturday evening that the youngsters are expected to recover fully but will miss the rest of the season.

Tagovailoa fell shortly before the break with Alabama leading 35-7. He walked off the field and seemed unable to complete the match. He started screaming in pain.

The player was flown by helicopter from the Davis Wade Stadium in Starkville, Mississippi, to St. Vincent Medical Center in Birmingham.

It's a very strange thing you rarely see, Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban said at his post-match news conference.

After undergoing surgery on his right ankle, who missed a match last month, Tagovailoa was a decision on time for Saturday's match after last week's 1-0 LSU defeat.

He was at least as good as he was a week ago in terms of his mobility, and I didn't think anything he did affect his performance in the first half. So.. you know, the guy who played.

We thought that if he could move at an early stage, which we took out before the team ever departed, it was good.

Perhaps the tide (9-1, 6-1 SEC) did not need tagovailoa to defeat Mississippi (4-6, 2-5). McJohns, Alabama's backup, was strong in relief and in his only debut against Arkansas on October 26, he threw three touchdowns and 235 yards past 18 to 22. He completed seven assists in 11 attempts on Saturday for 94 yards.

Tagovailoa made a strong start before being assisted from the field, finishing 14 of the 18 assists for 256 yards and two.

This led to a lot of questions about why tagovailoa stayed in the game when Alabama was 28 points ahead. Saban said Tagovailoa had never pressed to stay in the game, but he remained in the last campaign to get more experience in the two-minute workout.

Mac told us about the heating, and we had to go half a minute ago.

He has completed 70.9 percent of his passes this year, averaging 323 yards in eight starts, and Tagovailoa has not seen the field for much of the second half.

It is quite possible that the Tide assault will change with Jones under the middle. The red-red girl from Jacksonville, Florida, was not a sportsmanlike Tagovailoa healthy, nor did he have the same arm strength. This shouldn't be important next week against Western Carolina, an annual Alabama game held by Alabama in the run-up to Iron Bowl against Auburn.
